マニラから飛行機で南東に飛行機で45分ほどの石灰岩質の島々でここからパラワン諸島までは複雑な地形が広がっている。同じフィリピンでもセブ側とは異なり、ウォールではなく白砂のスロープ地形が広がる。
空港のあるブスアンガ島北側には美しいリーフがあり、白砂のビーチに囲まれた島々がいくつもある。海中も明るい砂地にコーラルパッチ、ボミー、ピナクルが点在する景観。海草の生えた白い砂地はジュゴンの生息地になっており、厳重に保護されている。現在20匹ほどのジュゴンが生息しており、シュノーケリングでアクセスするので体力も必要となります。
ブスアンガ島の北東のタラ島は流れは早いがいたるところにソフトコーラルが繁茂している。
ここから北に船で三時間ほどいったところには透明度抜群のナショナルパークのアポリーフが広がる。ここにはグレイリーフシャーク、ハンマーヘッド、イソマグロなどのPelagics(回遊魚）が回ってくる。カメやナポレオンも定番。
ブスアンガ島とその南のマリリー島に間の海峡には多くの沈船が沈んでおり、透明度は落ちるが欧米人には人気が高い。 The limestone islands, about a 45-minute flight southeast from Manila by plane, have a complex topography from here to the Palawan Islands. Unlike the Cebu side of the Philippines, there are no walls, but rather sloping terrain of white sand.
On the north side of Busuanga Island, where the airport is located, there is a beautiful reef and a number of islands surrounded by white sand beaches. The underwater landscape is also bright sand dotted with coral patches, bommies, and pinnacles. The white sand with sea grass is a habitat for dugongs, which are strictly protected. About 20 dugongs currently inhabit the area, which is accessed by snorkeling and requires physical strength. There are many wrecks in the strait between Busuanga Island and Marily Island.
